From Me, To Me: Benefit Haul

Another Haul online shopping haul this time from Benefit Cosmetics.
I love Benefit make up & I used to buy it a lot when I was younger but I don't love the prices we have to pay for it here in Australia. I only recently found out that Benefits website ships all over the world and since then I have been planning what I thought i would like to buy from them & finally I decided.

Shipping from the website cost me $13.95 but it is free for purchases over $125. I was planning on spending that much but the main item I wanted was out of stock so I decided to see how this shop would go before I would go back and purchase more. The shipping took just over 2 weeks which is pretty good in my books :)

The first thing I picked up was the Cabana Glama Kit which I had been eyeing for quite sometime at my local Benefit counter. I picked this up in the sale section of the website for $18.99 (RRP $36.00)

Cabana Glama is a Gorgeous get ready for Summer kit it contains:

- Some Kind A Gorgeous Mini in the shade Medium (3.5g)
- Hoola Bronzer (4g)
- Mini Posie Tint (2.5ml)
- Eyeshadow Palette in the shades Peach Fizz, Bronze Buzz & Cocoa Pizzazz (3.5g)
& 2 different Brush Applicators.

The next thing I picked up is the I'm Glam.. Therefore I Am Kit. This has a few things I've always wanted to try. This kit cost me $36.00

This kit contains:
-  Girl Meets Pearl Mini (7.5ml)
- Glamming Face Powder with Brush (2g)
- Life on the A List Lipgloss (5.2ml)
- Mini Bad Gal Lash (4g)
- Eyeshadow Palette with the shades Pink Fancy, Icy Lilac, Posh Amethyst & Precious Pewter (5g)
 - Double Ended Sponge Aplicator

The last thing I picked up was the She's So Jetset Kit. This is main reason I placed an order online. I have been lusting over this for so long but at $89 in Myers I have never been tempted to buy it. On the website it is $36.00 which is definitely a price I was willing to pay. I'm so glad I got this It is amazing and packaged so nicely (as is all of the products produced by Benefit)

This kit contains:
- Mini  Porefessional Tube (7.5ml
- First-Class Face Powder with Brush (3g)
- an Eyeshadow Palette in the shades Champagne Please, Gold Card, Pretty in Mink & Elegant Espresso (7g)
- a Mini They're Real Mascara (4g)
- Life on the A List Lipgloss (5.2ml)

As always Benefit have great offers for free sample with all purchases. With every order you get to choose from 2 packet samples I chose the Stay Put Primer Sample & the Triple Performing Facial Emulsion Sample. I also used a code to get a Girl Meets Pearl Deluxe Sample & Total Moisture Deluxe Sample.
Currently the offer they have on is for a Free Mini They're Real Mascara & a Free Mini Sugar Bomb Deluxe sample for all orders over $50 using the code LILSUGAR at checkout(offer valid until 6/12/12)
What are some of your favourite Benefit Products?

November Favourites 2012

This is my Very First Favourites Blog Post. It'll probably be very rushed as I'm off to work soon but I really wanted to get this up :)

Things I Have Been Loving For November 2012:

(1) Swisspers 80pk Cosmetic Square Pads - I love all the items in the Swisspers Range & this is no exception. I use these to clean my eyes at the end of the night but dabbing a little of either my Bioderma Crealine or any Liquid Make Up Remover I'm using at the time. These things are super handy & multi purpose & the are not messy as I have found cheaper alternatives to be.

(2) Essie Nail Polishes in the colours Fiji and Turquoise & Caicos - These are such pretty colours and as the weather is slowly warming up here in Western Australia they are my go to spring nail colours. Fiji is a nice opaque pastel pink colour and Turquoise & Caicos is a creamy opaque Blue/Green colour that is more on the Green side of the colour wheel.

(3) Stila Palette in Wonderful in Waikiki - I received this last week in the mail from my Beauty Bay order & have not been able to put this down since I bought it. The colours in this are very nice neutral toned colours that can be used to create lovely island bronzed type of looks. For swatches of this palette check out my Beauty Bay Haul Here.

(4) Mint Julips Lip Scrubs from Lush - I have terribly horrible dry lips and over this winter (that seems to never want to end here is WA) my lips have gotten really bad so a couple of months ago I picked up this lip exfoliating scrub from Lush & I love it. It smells like Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream which happens to be one of my fave ice cream flavour EVER & this stuff tastes amazing and because it is made from sugar and all natural ingredients you can lick this stuff right off after exfoliating your lips. I use this about 3 times a week and follow with my Lip Service Lush Lip Balm or any kind of lip treating balm. This thing will last you a very long time & is worth the $9.95 price tag.

(5) Green Tea Tree Toner Water from Lush - Another Lush product I have been loving is this Tea Tree Toner. I just spray a little of this onto a Swisspers Cotton Pad a wipe across my face after Cleansing ever night. I quite like the smell of Tea Tree and It is supposed to help soothe skin and redness and works well for oily skin. I have the 100g bottle and it has lasted me about 2 months & it's not even half empty yet.  I'm a Huge fan of this stuff and will continue to repurchase this every time.

(6) Burts Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream -
I Love this. It Smells Great and really does what it is meant to. There isn't much to say about this cuticle butter other than It truly is AMAZING. As much as I love nail polish and painting my nails I've never really looked after my nails so I thought it was about time I did and I was tossing up between this and Lemony Flutter by Lush but went with this instead as its so cute & compact and easy to travel with.

(7) Rose Gold Arrow Bracelet from Lovisa - This is just so cute and I'm really loving the rose gold trend at the moment. This was a gift from my sister & I love it and have been wearing it all month.

(8) Revlon 3D PhotoReady Volume Mascara - I got this free in my Revlon GWP (See Post Here). This mascara was the whole reason I wanted to get this Free Gift With Purchase from Revlon & I'm so glad I did as I am loving it so far. The brush reminds me of the Benefit They're Real Mascara and it seperates my lashes nicely and makes them super long. It isn't doesn't give as much volume as I would like it to but I always pair my mascaras up & I use this with my L'oreal Extra Volume Collagen Mascara (Which is an ALL TIME FAVE of mine). Together the 2 look amazing and are my current fave combo.

(9) Real Techniques by Samantha Chapman Powder Brush - This is one of the nicest brushes I have ever owned. It's so big and soft and it just feel amazing on the skin and works really well on all kinds of powder. I bought this and quite a few others from the same range from about a month ago & so far and loving all of them.

Well I survived my first Favourites post. Hope you all enjoy it & I would love to see all yours.
Tell me what your favourite products for November have been :)

Click Frenzy: Priceline Haul

So recently Priceline did a Click Frenzy Sale with up to 40-80% off selected brands and the site was running really slow as so many people were trying to get in on it but I managed to pick up a couple of things. Here is what I got :)

One of my Ultimate Cosmetic Organisers with all my new purchases
The first sale I took advantage of was 50% off Models Prefer. I have been eyeing off their Acrylic Make Up Organizing Systems. I decided to pick up 2 of the Ultimate Cosmetic Organiser which I paid $14.99 each (RRP $29.99each) & 2 of the 3 Piece Stackable Mini Organisers which I paid $7.49 each (RRP $14.99 each) ..

These things are FANTASTIC I just wish I picked up the whole range as they also do a separate Lipstick Holder & a separate Make Up Brush Holder. They are light weight and hold a lot of stuff in them i just wish the Stackable Organiser was a bit bigger as each section is about the size of the palm of my hand. If these things go on sale again I will definitely be being more :)

I also bought the Revlon Kissable Balm Stain in the colour Honey, a Revlon Colour Stay Liquid Eye Liner Pen, a Rimmel Match Perfection Blush in the shade Light/Medium & an Australis Eyeshadow Primer. I also picked up 2 other Kissable Balm Stains in the 2 for 1 deal on all Revlon Nail & Lip products in store. I got the colours Cherish & Smitten.

Rimmel Match Perfection Blush in the shade Light/Medium - I paid $8.97 (RRP $14.95)
Rimmel Match Perfect Blush in Light/Medium - I haven't really tried many products from Rimmel before but I picked this up because I'd never seen it before & it just looks so pretty. It has 3 Blush colours in it which kind of makes it look like a little compact contour kit as it has a light shade a medium pink shade and a dark coral/ deep orange toned shade. I haven't had much of a play around with this but all the colours are nicely pigmented and blend well together I can't wait to start experimenting with this as I'm fairly new to the whole Blush/Bronzing scene :)

Revlon ColourStay Liquid Eye Pen in the shade 01 Blackest Black - I Paid $15.57 (RRP $25.95)
Revlon ColourStay Liquid Eye Pen in 01 Blackest Black - I have to admit I have always been afraid of any type of Liquid Eyeliner & I'm a huge fan of Gel Eyeliner so I never felt the need to even try anything else until I saw the Revlon ColourStay Liquid Eye Pen. I have been lusting over this for a while & have read a few reviews on it but have not been liking the price of this thing because I'm afraid I wouldn't like it so as soon as I saw this was 40% I had to buy it & let me tell you I LOVE IT. It's super easy to use and looks great on. It isn't as black as some of my gel liners but it gives such a smooth flawless finish that I always find hard to get when using my gel liners & It's super precise. I Don't regret buying this at all :)

Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains in Honey, Cherish & Smitten - Anyone & Everyone who is Beauty Obsessed knows about these Bad Boys & YAY they are finally Available in Australia though they are quite pricey. I picked up one in the colour Honey during the sale for $10.77 (RRP $17.95) and then 2 instore in the colours Smitten & Cherish in the 2 For 1 deal that is currently still going on in Priceline (Ends 3 Dec 12).

From Back to Front: Smitten, Cherish & Honey
From Left to Right Without Flash & With Flash: Honey, Cherish, Smitten & the Revlon ColourStay Liquid Eye Pen

I was pretty overwhelmed by the colour choices as there are so many to chose from (10 in Priceline) so I looked at countless amount of swatches online and settle for these 3. I'm really bad at describing colours so hopefully you will be able to see in the pictures above but Honey is Neutral toned Mauve/Pink colour, Cherish is a Light Bubblegum Pink & Smitten is a Deeper Raspberry Pink kind of like the colour your tongue turns after drinking raspberry cordial :)

Australis Eye Shadow Primer - I paid $7.77 (RRP $12.95)

Australis Eye Shadow Primer - I haven't tried this out yet but I love Eye Shadow Primers I honestly don't know what i did before these came along and my collection is growing everyday so I thought why not give this one a go plus it's pink how could you say no to that. All Australis products are currently $3 off at priceline (ending on the 3 Dec 12) so why not check out some of there other products as they tend to have really great affordable Make Up.

My total Order came to $88.06 with Free Shipping & I Saved a Total of  $73.70 which I am totally pleased with.

Priceline also threw in some awesome samples I think I got 2 lots of everything because my package came in 2 boxes and each box had an envelope full of goodies

Have you picked up any good bargains lately?

Lust Have It November 2012

Lust Have It Bag November 2012

I got my Lust Have It November Bag in the mail yesterday. For those who don't know what Lust Have It is, it's an Australian Beauty Subscription that costs $14.95 a month and each month you get a bag with 4-5 beauty related items. This is my 2nd Lust Have It Bag and I know a lot of people were disappointed with last months bag but since it was my first one I had no expectations and I quite enjoyed it as I didn't have any of the samples we were given. I'd already seen a few blog posts about this month and as soon as I saw the blue bag I knew which pack I had been given & this is what I received.

(1) Lomasi Ginger Lime Body Creme (30ml Sample Size) - This such a cute little sample of body cream that would be good for travelling.  This cream smells amazing just like a mojito on a summers night and feels amazing on the skin so far I'm loving this one. The card says you can also get this in a Mango Scent and a Pomegranate Scent.

(2) Davroe Straightening Balm (50g sample size) - I know a few people were disappointed with receiving a Davroe product because it is something they have previously received but I didn't mind it. Davroe is an Australian made & owned brand which is something I like about this product and also I don't have anything by them. I haven't tried this yet but I do often straighten my hair so this type of product would be good for me. This product it smells nice I don't exactly know what the smell is but on the pack it says the fragrance is Wild Iris so i guess that must be it. I look forward to trying this out.

(3) Model Co Fibre Lashxtend Mascara (Full Size) - The card says this brand new break through formula that isn't available for sale yet. I love the fact that we got a full size make up item this month but I'm very picky when it comes to mascara's and I only really like certain type and fibre ones were never one of them but I will try this out and hopefully I will like it.

(4) Star & Rose Hologram Tweezers (Full Size) - These are just a some tweezers by Star & Rose. There isn't too much to say about these except they have a holographic print on them which I think is kinda cool but i haven't tried these out yet but i guess it's always handy to have a spare set of tweezers

(5) Face Of Australia Purifying Cleansing Wipes (Full Size) - I think this a nice item to recieve as I'm always on the look out for some great face wipes I've never really found any that i really love so I love trying new ones & I've never tried these ones. I always tend to run out so it's nice to have a spare pack for when that happens or when I misplace mine & these are nice an affordable that if i do end up liking them I can repurchase them over & over again.

Over all I'm very happy with my Lust Have It Bag for November 2012 but because I'm fairly new to the service I can see were other people are becoming more and more frustrated with the selections they are given.

A Quick Thank You :)

I just want to do a super quick post today as I haven't been able to post all weekend because I work all day Saturday and then I had my best friends engagement party (& being her maid of honor i had a lot to help her out with) that night then on Sunday I went to STEREOSONIC with a group of my friends. For those who don't know what stereosonic is it is a major outdoor all day music festival that is aimed at dance/trance/dubstep & just club type music here in Australia and plays in all the major cities. OMG it was amazing I love music festivals and just music in general but I've never been to a Stereosonic Festival (I mainly prefer Soundwave & Big Day Out) but I had so much fun and I am definitely paying for it today as I'm super exhausted.

My favourite acts of the Day/Night were Laidback Luke, Example, Calvin Harris & Major Lazer for anyone going to Stereosonic in Melbourne, Adelaide or Brisbane should check them out :) or if you've been to any of the Stereosonic Festivals that have already played tell me what you thought :)

Now on the the main reason I wanted to do this post. I have been blogging for about 2 weeks now & just want to say a quick thank you to anyone and everyone who has read/subscribed to my blog it really means a lot to me considering when I first started I didn't think anyone would read it :P I have been having such a great time and will continue to post as regularly as possible/necessary & I look forward to reading all of your great blog posts so again Thank You I really do appreciate it :) Now I'm off to rest as I am so exhausted from the past couple of days. Happy Monday Everyone :)

From Me, To Me: Presents In The Mail

I love online shopping :) These are just a few things I received in the mail yesterday.

One of my favourite online shopping site is
For those who are not aware of this website (though I'm sure you are) Beauty Bay is a UK website that stocks products from well known brands in Hair Care, Skin Care, Make Up, Accessories and more. They do Worldwide Free shipping and for today only they have a 20% of Black Friday sale. TODAY ONLY :)!!

In this order I picked up a Stila Collectible Beach Palette in no. 4 Wonderful in Waikiki, Too Faced Natural Eye Palette & Orly Nail Polish in Cotton Candy.

This Stila Palettes are great gift idea's for Christmas they cost $14.53 and with the 20% of today only they are $11.76. Beauty bay sells Wonderful in Waikiki, Striking in South Beach (Blue/Grey toned eye shadows) & Living the life in Laguna (Pink toned eye shadows) and the palettes are about the size of the palm of your hand.

In each palette you get 4 eye colours (My one has Wahine, Sarong, Coconut & Surf), 1 cheek colour (Mine has North Shore) & 1 Bronzing colour (Mine has Hanauma Bay). All the colours have nice pigmentation with a slight shimmer to them.

From L to R: Surf, Coconut, Sarong & Whine.

From L to R:  North Shore & Hanauma Bay

You get 3 lovely Neutral eye colours that are super easy to blend and work really well together and 1 Bright blue colour that in the Look guide on the inside cover says would be great swept across the lower lash line or you could even wear it by itself if you are after a great pop of colour.
You also get 2 cheek colours. Both colours are similar and complement each other. The blush is a nice peachy coral colour and the bronzer is very similar but with more of a darker shade. Both colours have very little shimmer in them and are more of a matte type powder which is what i love i don't like when cheek colours have glitter and over powering shimmer in them.
These palettes a great for people just starting out with make up as they have a nice range of colours and enough product to play around with & would be great for travelling.

The next thing I picked up is an item that I have been lusting over for as long as I can remember and it is the Too Faced Natural Eye Kit.On Beauty Bay this is normally $37.77 with the 20% if today it is $30.57. This is by far one of the cutest things I have ever seen and I am so happy that i finally decided to purchase it (though now i wish i would have waited for today's sale oh well). It comes with 9 different shades of eye shadow with 3 of them being slightly bigger than the other 6. It also has 3 cards that have 3 different looks to create using the eye shadows provided. I haven't had time to play around with this yet because its just so new i don't want to start using it yet haha but when i do i will be posting a separate review with swatches but here are some pictures for anyone who is interested.

The last thing I purchased was an Orly Nail Polish in the colour Cotton Candy. This is my 2nd Orly Nail Polish (I Own Orly's Rage) and I love the colour of this as the name suggests it is a Cotton Candy Pink Colour. I'm still waiting on some other nail polishes i have purchased online and when i get them i will be swatching and reviewing them. I think I will wait until then and add the Orly Nail Polish in with that lot.

I'm always on the hunt for great Beauty sites that ship to Australia if you know any feel free to share. Will you be picking anything up in the Beauty Bay 20% sale?

Bioderma Crealine H2O

Just over a week ago I went to the website and spotted the Bioderma Crealine H2O 250ml bottle for $22.70 now I don't know if this was a mistake or if it was on special but i didn't even hesitate to purchase this becasue normally this retails for $39.95. This is the first item I've ever purchased from Bellabox and I have the admit the service is great I noticed in an email they said all purchases from their website come with a selection of free samples and I am a sucker for samples so i was pleasantly surprised to see all this nicely packed into my parcel and it only took about 5 days to reach me (which is great for Western Australia)

For anyone who has never heard of the Bioderma it is a French Skincare Brand and let me tell you this stuff it AMAZING. I can definitely see why this gets Holy Grail status with a lot of Makeup Artists and Bloggers. This is a gentle facial cleansing water and is formulated specifically for sensitive skin. It is Perfume free and Hypoallergenic and of course everything on this bottle is written in french. I use this at night to remover my make up with a Cotton Pad (It even takes of waterproof makeup) and in the morning on clean skin as apart of my morning skin care routine. This is such a quick and effective way of cleaning your skin for people who tend to be more laid back in their skincare routine and is perfect when coming home after a late night out. I love how this makes my skin feel so soft and clean after every use. As soon as i saw this in the Bellabox shop it didn't even click that the reason i was in stock might be because it was apart of this months samples and I'm so glad i got the Bioderma Sebium Cleanser so i can give that a try and see which i like better and if i notice a difference.

Are you a Bioderma Fan? Let me know what you consider to be a Holy Grail skincare product as I'm always on the lookout for more.

Bellabox November 2012 (FINALLY)

Bellabox November 2012

Where to begin this is probably going to be super brief as i just came home from an exhausting day/night of work and i just really wanted to post this :)

YAYAYAYAY its FINALLY here.. The one thing I hate about living in WA is being one of the last people to receive anything in the mail its so frustrating and I'm so not the type of person that stays away from reading blog posts until my package arrives so this month I of course saw the countless number of Bellabox November posts and with each one i was even more dying to see which version I got & I am over the moon with the one i have as it is the one i wanted the most :):) I was so excited that i kinda lost my info card wooops oh well here goes nothing..

So this is what i got:
(1)Skinmiso Pore Beauty Nose Pack (1 sample pack) - This is just looks like its a 2 step Pore Nose Strip pack and it comes with a sheet that has instructions on how to use it. I'm excited to try this as i love pore strips but by the looks of this its meant to work different to the standard ones you can usually get from Priceline so I'll Definitely be trying this out then i will let you all know what i think.
(2) 4 ME Nail Polish Remover Pads (30pk Full Size Item) - these are just soaked cotton pads for taking nail polish off. I'm not a fan of these things they are always so saturated and awkward to use and the last time i used one of these they irritated my skin (though they were a different brand). I'm very reluctant to try these but i do admit they are very handy so I might give this away to my sister or a friend.
(3) Swisse Hand Cream with Vitamin E & Pomegranate (30ml sample) - I lovelovelove hand cream especially when its travel/handbag size. I not to sure what pomegrante is meant to smell like but this stuff smells great more like grapefruit or lemon. I've used this once and so far am loving it.

(4) Dr Lewinns Facial Polish Gel Gentle Exfoliant (50g sample) - I am a huge fan of facial exfoliators and am super excited to try this one out it looks pretty good & smells AMAZING.

(5) Sample Sachet of Dr Lewinns Skin Perfect Primer & Skin Perfect Foundation - These are single use tiny sachet samples. I'm really excited to try them out & the foundation is in the shade Beige which is should hopefully be a good match as usually i get samples that are way to light for me.
(6) Palmolive Naturals Body Butter in Luscious Mango (50ml sample) - This is a moisturising body wash and i'm not that excited for this as i tend to lover more exfoliating body wash like at the moment i actually using the Coconut Scrub in this exact same Palmolive Natural Body Butter line and I'm loving that but this one smells pretty good so i might save it for when i go away for the weekend.
(7) Bioderma Sebium H2O (20ml sample size) - I'm so excited i got this one over the Crealine as i actually have used the crealine before and currently have a Full Size of it i just got yesterday (blog post to come tomorrow) but I've never tried this one so i'm definitely going to try this and see if i like it any better as it is $10 cheaper for the 250ml size.
(8) B collection Col-lecta Colour Cheek Tint in Barossa Valley (Full Size) - The last thing i got was this Cream Cheek Tint and I'm so glad i got this over the Glitter Eyeliner as I'm not a huge eyeliner fan. This is such a gorgeous cheek colour it looks a lot darker in the tin than it does on the cheek. I wore this today and it gives you such a lovely coral pink flushed colour and it is super easy to blend and i love the way this looks with my warm complexion. This is definitely my favourite thing in the box so far.

[From L-R: Col-lecta Colour Check Tint Swatch Taken Without Flash & With Flash]

I'm still Playing around with everything but I'll probably post an update once I've had a play around with all my items. Overall I'm super happy with all my items but I'm not very hard to please when it comes to stuff like this as this is my second ever Bellabox all these things are very new to me & so far I am LOVING it :)

Hope everyone is enjoying there box this month. What is your favourite item for Bellabox November 2012?

St Ives Green Tea Scrub

Happy Monday Everyone :)

St Ives Naturally Clear Green Tea Scrub 150ml

As i wait for my Bella Box to arrive (fingers Crossed it's coming today) i thought i would do a quick review on one of my favourite exfoliators. In the past i would never buy the same scrub more than once as i have never found one i feel to be truly a great product until now. I am OBSESSED with St Ives so i thought I'd try out one of their scrubs. I chose the Green Tea Scrub over the Apricot Scrub because it is aimed at clearing breakouts and soothing skin as well as helping reduce redness which lately im having an issue with.

The back of the product mentions that this product is not tested on animals and does not contain any animal ingredients and is formulated without Parabens and Phthalates. This Scrub retails for around $9.99 and can be purchased from Priceline and Woolworths stores.

This facial exfoliator has a whole lot of fine sand like particles mixed in with what feels like a semi cream cleanser and it really feels like i'm scrubing my face clean when i use this. Most Face Scrubs I've used in the past feel like they are doing nothing to my skin or they feel like they are to harsh. This one on the other hand is a perfect balance as it does not irritate my skin while still giving it a good clean scrub and leaves my skin feeling smooth afterwards. This Scrub smells amazing and very fresh but i don't think the scent is exactly what green tea smells like but it does have a slight green tea scent. I use this scrub around twice a week in the shower and i have never looked back since. I just ran out of this scrub today and am already on my way to pick up another one as well as the Green Tea Gel Cleanser.

Hope this helps anyone who like me is very picky when it comes to Exfoliation
