Femme Fatale Cosmetics Plus a Sneak Peek At My Upcoming GIVEAWAY

Well the weekend is over & It's back to blogging for me :) I find it hard to Blog over the weekends as it is usually when I'm at my busiest.

Today I have Part 4 of my Nail Polish Haul's that seem to be never ending as clearly I have gone over board with buying Nail Polish lately so I've put my self on a bit of a spending ban when it comes to such things.

I've been looking around lately for some great indie made Nail Polishes that are Australian Made & Owned & I came across the Femme Fatale Cosmetics website after reading that they stock Gloss n Sparkle from Claire's Blog Sailor Klerr I had already decided I wanted to buy a Gloss n Sparkle polish but after seeing her post I knew I had to get Unicorn Droppings :)

I'd never really heard about Femme Fatale before but after going on their website I instantly knew I wanted to buy every nail polish they stocked. I think I edited my shopping cart around 4 times as I kept putting way too many polishes in & I was trying to keep to a budget I set for myself. All their products are reasonable priced & well worth it. As nail polish is a very difficult product to ship overseas they only offer to ship these items locally but they do have International Stockist as I'm sure so many people from around the world would be interested in these amazing products.

I decided on buying only 5 polishes (trust me it was hard to only pick 5) but as soon as I got my package in the mail I squealed with excitement as soon as I saw the polishes I knew instantly that I loved them. Here is what I got.
{all these polishes were purchased by me with my own money}

Gloss 'n Sparkle Unicorn Dropping 12ml RRP$10.00 - This is a lovely White Based polish with a slight Grey/Silver tint due to the fact that it is packed with tiny holographic silver glitter with a lovely mix of multi  rainbow coloured glitter. This polish is beyond gorgeous. I love everything about this polish from the Name to the way it looks on my nails. I had no issues with this at all it applied smoothly & evenly with just 2 coats with no top coat for the swatches below. (these swatches were kinda rushed but I still like the way they looked). This polish does dry slightly rough with all the glitter in it so a good top coat is needed.

Emily De Molly Sakura 12ml RRP$10.00 - This is another White based polish & it contains Hot Pink & Grey (Charcoal) Hex Glitters in Medium & Small Sizes. This applies evenly & the formula is slightly thinner than unicorn droppings & requires a good 3 coats to get a flawless finish. I love how this polish applies the glitter you get a lot of glitter in each stroke & it does a nice job sandwiching them. You could possibly get away with 2 thick coats if you wanted. For the swatches I used 3 coats alone.

Emily De Molly Ego Friendly 12ml RRP$10.00 - This is a Mint Green based polish with about 4 different shades of Green glitter as well as Light Purple Hex Glitter. I love the base colour of this polish this is a colour I'm drawn to a lot when it comes to nail polish & the mix of green glitters compliment this colour really well. This applies similar to the Sakura Polish though I do find the Glitters get a bit lost the more coats you apply but that could just be me applying the polish weirdly but I kinda like how subtle it makes the glitters look as not all people like in your face glitter type polishes. For these watches I used 3 coats alone.

Femme Fatale Skyfire 12ml RRP$9.00 - This is a Duo Chromatic Holo Polish in a Milky White Translucent base that shifts between different shades of blue from a slightly dark Purplish Blue to Aqua Blue to a Teal Blue depending on which way the light hits it. It can be worn alone or over a dark polish or over a light Blue/Aqua base to compliment the colours that reflect in the light. for the swatches I used from L to R: 1 coat over Essie Mint Candy Apple // 1 coat over Essie Where's My Chauffeur // 2 coats over Rimmel 800 Black out // 2 coats alone.

Femme Fatale Fatal Attraction 12ml RRP$9.75 - I have saved my FAVOURITE for last if it is even possible for me to pick a fav as they are all gorgeous polishes but If I had to choose this would be it. This is a beyond Gorgeous Deep Purply/Red/Pink Wine jelly based polish that makes me want to sing the "Red Red Wine" song every time I stare at my nails. It is packed with Red toned & Purple holographic glitter that has the most gorgeous sparkle I have ever seen which of course was hard to capture on my lame camera :). I used 3 coats of polish to gain this look. This polish looks just as amazing in the bottle as it does on the nail.

  2. The mint green polish just blew me away - never seen anything like it. Wow. I want it so badly, it's like a stomach ache. I love how opaque it is! I know a lot of people like layering glitter polishes, but I'd rather wear them alone if they are opaque.
    Also love Unicorn Dropping. I'm a sucker for hex glitter.
